In the 2017-2018 academic year there were 8 graduates of Plymouth State University’s clinical mental health counseling master’s degree program. Clinical Mental Health Counseling students take the Counselor Professional Competency Exam (CPCE). All students successfully passed the exam on the first attempt. Over the past several years, approximately 72% of initially enrolled students completed the program. Among all program graduates, the three year job placement rate is approximately 100% of those actively seeking positions. For the current academic year, approximately 48 students are enrolled in the program. About half full time and half are part-time. Course schedules accommodate both groups of students equally well.
