Plymouth State University does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its admissions practices except as permitted by law, in its employment practices, or in its educational programs or activities. As a recipient of federal financial assistance for education activities, the University is required by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 to ensure that all its education programs and activities do not discriminate on the basis of sex.
Sex-based harassment, sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, and stalking are forms of sex discrimination, which are prohibited under Title IX and constitute prohibited conduct under PSU’s Policy Prohibiting Sexual Misconduct.
The University also prohibits retaliation against any person participating in any sexual misconduct or discrimination complaint, investigation, or resolution process.
Reports of sexual misconduct and discrimination may be made by contacting the Title IX Coordinator. Reports may be made in person, by telephone, by mail, by email, and/or by online reporting form.
