Our IDEA Scholars Fall 2025 cohort is open for applications! The program is designed to support students academically, socially, and professionally on campus and beyond.
The program includes:
- A summer orientation session
- Early move-in to campus
- A specialized first year experience course
- Workshops
- Specialized advising
- Peer mentorship
- Increased access to on-campus resources
- Résumé building
Scholarship: All students who are accepted into the program and maintain the program requirements receive an annual, renewable scholarship for up to $1,000 for on-campus housing for up to four years.
Requirements to apply:
- You must be accepted as a PSU student.
- You must be an undergraduate student enrolling for the first time in Fall 2025.
- Submit a 250-500 word essay describing how you would contribute to creating a welcoming environment at Plymouth State University (Examples may include: aspects from your own life experiences, identities, barriers you have personally overcome, examples of how you have supported enhancing welcoming environments in the past, and/or ideas you have to help make PSU a more welcoming environment.)
