The School of Integrated Liberal Arts is a home for students who question, explore, interpret, and create. Whether you are pursuing a major or minor in the arts and humanities, shaping an interdisciplinary course of study, or pairing your interests with professional skills through Pathways courses, this school provides an environment where your goals and creative ambitions are taken seriously.

You may be a bookish academic, a free-spirited artist, the next great worldbuilder, or someone entirely different. All are valued for what they bring to the community. Students are drawn to writing, performance, design, research, storytelling, and new forms of expression.

Faculty mentor students and celebrate the work they produce in classrooms, studios, archives, and internships. That work may appear on screens, stages, tables, and pages, and may reflect both tradition and new forms of expression. Integration is central to this school. You will study alongside students from across the University and experience a curriculum that connects the arts and humanities with education, public service, business, health, and the sciences.

Above all, this is a place for meaningful learning, close mentoring, and education shaped around who you are now and who you are becoming.

Theatre Productions at PSU

Theatre performance

Plymouth State Theatre produces a variety of shows each season, staging upwards of six to seven shows in three theatres. The season typically includes two musicals. Directors, designers and other artists involved are chosen from the faculty and staff, from regional and national professionals, and from the student body. These productions are open to all PSU students by audition.
