4+1 Cohort
Looking to complete your MBA in as little as one year? The MBA Cohort is an in-person intensive program that allows you to finish in just three semesters as a full-time student. The cohort is designed to include coursework with an emphasis on small business entrepreneurship through applied project work, or you can add one of the above certificates with approved course substitutions.
While this program has been set up for current PSU students who will be completing their bachelor’s degree in May of each year, it is also open to anyone who wishes to fast-track their MBA degree. The cohort format provides structured course schedule by taking classes together in a personal and friendly learning environment while working closely with our experienced faculty who offer a wide array of business expertise. The cohort starts in the summer semester only.
Non-Business Disciplines - Even if your educational background is outside of business, Plymouth’s MBA program will work for you. We offer two preparatory online classes taken before the cohort begins to provide you with the necessary business foundation and knowledge to be successful.
PSU Seniors - if you are a current PSU student who is on track to complete your bachelor’s degree in the spring, you can take up to 6 graduate business credits that can count as electives for your bachelor’s degree and as graduate credit toward the MBA program. Tuition would be assessed at the undergraduate rate, and you are able to use your UG financial aid. Please talk with your advisor for more information.
Business Partnerships
Organizations who wish to explore graduate healthcare programs for their employees should contact our Professional Development and Partnership Team so we can learn more about your organization’s culture, goals, and anticipated outcomes.

Student Spotlight
Brian (Sully) Sullivan ’25, ‘25G
Major(s): Business Administration, Strategic Marketing
Minor(s): Economics, Professional Sales
Masters: MBA
“I graduated high school as an ordinary student. I graduated Plymouth State having been President of the largest student organization on campus, a tutor, a Global Ambassador after studying abroad—and I just earned a double major, two minors, and a master’s degree, all simultaneously.
As part of my master’s project, I built a mobile app exclusively for PSU students—something that makes it effortless to share plans with friends and even easier to explore what’s happening across campus. I taught myself to program from scratch and built the app over a six-month period, all while developing the business strategy and keeping up with a full master’s course load.
If I had gone to a different university, that list of accomplishments would look a lot shorter—or maybe wouldn’t exist at all. What makes Plymouth different is the kind of positive, empowering attention you get from your professors. I’ve earned credits from four different colleges and none of them came close to what I experienced here at Plymouth State University.”
