For non-emergency maintenance or housekeeping services in the residence halls, please submit a work request through SchoolDude.
SchoolDude lets you submit non-emergency work requests 24/7. It acknowledges your requests and updates you on the status of them via e-mail. Non-emergency work requests are handled on a first-in, first-out basis.
If you haven’t submitted a work order, previously you will need to create an account.
If you have questions, please contact Physical Plant at 603-535-2254 during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.).
Non-Emergency Examples:
- Burned out lights
- Water is too hot or too cold
- Sink or tub is draining slowly
- Pest control
- Toilet will not flush (when another toilet is available)
TV Cable & Internet
Cable and internet service is provided by PSU Information Technology Services (ITS). If you have problems, please contact the ITS Help Desk.
Game Consoles & Streaming Devices
In order to connect a gaming console or smart device to the PSU Network, you must first register the device’s MAC address. View instructions on how to find the MAC address on many of the most popular devices.
Immediately contact your community advisor or community director in cases of emergency. Emergency requests are generally handled on a first in, first out basis and are addressed as soon as possible. During business hours (Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) you can call 603-535-2254.
For emergencies after hours and on weekends please connect with the community advisor on duty for your residential community. Their contact information is posted in multiple places in your assigned community.
Emergency Examples:
- Total loss of power to entire building, apartment, room, or suite
- Flooding
- Safety issues
- Security Issues (locks, doors, or windows)
- Damages to University property
- Absence of water
